Hi,
I have a new HD... its 160GBs and is formated Fat32
but when I plug it into the Tyros... the keyboard starts up and the Yamaha logo appears and it just sits there.

Any ideas?

Also isn't there some sort of limitation on the number of files the Tyros will recognize or hold?

Is there no way to use a USB Thumb Hard Drive to transfer files from it to the Tyros HD?

Somewhere out there in Yamaha land there is a listing of acceptable hard disk and USB memory sticks. A search on this or other forums or go to the Yamaha site, should lead you there. I understand that not all hard drives or memory sticks will work.
