Well.. this topic is not exactly related to jv/xp. But you definately need a pair of speaker (or a headphone set) in order to listen to your lovely jv/xp.
What do you have?

I use a pair of Beyer DT100 headphones most of the time - perhaps not the best there is but they're still very good and definitely the industry standard.

To hear it through speakers I just use my hifi, though I'm considering splashing out on a pair of Spirit Absolute 2 monitors & a Samson Servo 260 at some point.

As far as monitors go......... do you want "realism" for good mixes, or "thump" for listening purposes, I'm part of the old school that swears by Yamaha NS-10's to mix, something bigger for bass..........
