Hi Guy`s ,

For a pro, working , I would not even bring this up.

Haven't tried one, but there are LOTS of good alternatives to SM58. For example Samson R11, you can get 3 for around $60.
Generally speaking, the drawback to many of the imitators is handling noise. Hard to say whether it will fit your needs and your voice until you try one.

Samson Q7 is also a great alternative, beats the Shure SM58 by a wide margin, great noise reduction, outstanding feedback suppression, and sells for about $60 at most online stores. When I was using a hand-held mic the Q7 was always my favorite. I sold both SM58s for half what I paid for them, and one was never used.

And, like DomM, I haven't had any experience or ever seen with the mic you posted.

Good Luck,

Gary

EV NDym series... unbelievable feedback rejection, beautiful unhyped sound.

Worth every penny
