Very interesting product, although it is even heavier then my portly Yamaha CP-300.
Definitely for the piano fanatics(like me) with editable Unison Tune, Hammer Hardness, Cross Resonance, Tone Color, String Resonance, Damper Resonance, Soundboard Resonance, Key off resonance, Damping Time, Damping Noise Level, to name a few.(phew!)
I can't wait to try this one, and it even has a nice flat top that my S900 would fit on nicely.
Probably not going to be cheap, but if it sounds like the specs imply it will, it should be worth it and it sure might make a good studio piece.

It doesn't sound like a Roland sampled piano either, and it overcomes my beef about the samples being uneven on Roland DPs. I almost feel it is much like the old Structured Adaptive Synthesis(SAS)which I really liked, but vastly expanded and with an incredible amount of user control...although it is probably based on something newer. Too bad it is so heavy and wouldn't make a viable gigging 'board, but no doubt the technology will trickle down eventually to something a bit more manageable. Pretty awesome, all the same. If this instrument plays anything near the Yamaha nine-foot CFIIIS grand piano, which I have played many times at a buddy's place, I'm a goner. Can't wait to try this one...I like the idea of the "Tactile Response System" that transmits "string" vibrations through the keys to player's hands, plus the special pedal. Thanks for sharing the link...much appreciated. Ian the Grateful
