Solo Performer Show Controller 4.0, from Alien Apparatus, consists of a six-button foot pedal device that connects to laptop computers via USB, plus software that enables a solo performer to control backing music, MIDI devices, and DMX512 lighting while performing live. This release brings a new Button view (where all of the songs on the selected playlist show up as buttons that can be selected for playback), display of the audio waveform with an event track underneath in event editor windows, drag-and-drop of events onto the event track, an option to replace all missing files with found replacements, and other changes. Solo Performer Show Controller is $595 for Mac OS X (Universal Binary) or Windows.
So it's not just lyrics, but lyrics, audio MIDI and DMX lighting control...
So... anybody using it or tried it?
