When are Roland going to start support real musicians? It's not good enough - I bought the JV-1010 and then discovered it can't load any of my vast library of Akai and wave samples! Other manufacturuers can do this - why can't Roland? And even though I knew it had a LED display when I bought it, other models have graphical LCD displays, so when I went to bed last night, I fully expected there to be a shiny new LCD on the thing this morning. And guess what? They let me down again. I mean - how are you supposed to edit this thing? Read the manual? No way - I refuse to do that - it's up to Roland's to put a separate knob on the front for every function, and label them in at least six languages! Come to think of it, I got this neat Panasonic breadmaker the other day. Why can't Roland build this into their synths? I mean, us musos have to eat, or are Roland trying to starve us to death?

Ummm, respectfully; DID YOU DO ANY RESEARCH ON THIS MODULE BEFORE YOU BOUGHT IT?

It is clear (and Roland makes it clear) that you can't load samples into the JV1010. It's a synth, NOT a sampler. The size was reduced from the JV1080 and JV2080 to reduce cost. No where in any brochures or looking at in a store could one assume that the screen was graphic or could be editited.

You need to do more research in the future before you spend your money.

I had the same experience whith my XP-60. I was totally convinced that I should be able to check my e-mail with it, but IT WILL NOT WORK! Piece of crap! I also mean, Casio has integrated a GPS-reciever in a wrist-watch, so this should also be a demand on an expensive synth...

Uh, guys....

Let's be realistic. You really won't find a breadmaker in anything short of a Kurzweil.

Now, about adding that Jacuzzi to my XP60......

Anyway, the 1010 apparently has no asseverating uxorial rescission function in performance mode; what's with that?

Well, you could buy one of those grey-market asseverating uxorial rescission expansion modules, but then where would you fit the slots for the built-in toaster?

And mine is only apparently waterproof to a depth of 300 meters. How am I supposed to work around THAT? It's an outrage!

All I want is two buttons:

1: Write Hit Song

2: Collect Royalty Check

How come my keyboard doesn't have these buttons? Doesn't anybody at Roland CARE?

Come to think of it, my breadmaker doesn't play music either! I'm ripped off here in a double whammy. Anyone care to start a petition to send to Panasonic?

And what would you write down on that petition?
"Please build in a SCSI adapter on my breadmaker to transport samples from my Akai Sampler"

I also think they should add a "Roadie" button, which causes a 250-pound guy in a black t-shirt to appear and carry your gear to and from every gig.

How hard can that be? C'mon, Roland!
