i bought a jv-1010 yesterday. I am new with this Roland-stuff, but it has to possible to play some layers on performance-mode like on the 1080, or any other bigger than mine, hasn't it? By now i had about 18473 tries, but i wasnt able to find the right knob. Is it possible to load Performances from the internal memory, and is it possible to assign two parts on the same midi-channel? So if anyone knows if it is possible and how please write. By the way the OS1.02 is the latest?

Yes, you can set any of the channels in a performance (except the rhythm channel 10) to receive on any channel to layer sounds. Many of the user and preset patches already do this.
