I'm trying to record tracks onto a CD rom to play on a normal cd player which have been created on a kn7000. Is this possible? I have tried saving the tracks in the sd format and technics format and tried playing it on the pc by using the sd audio pc writing kit but without proper instructions don't know what I'm doing!
Any help with this greatly received.

Save your work on the CD as *.wav -files.

Thanks for reply but what how do I save the track first on the keyboard, as technics or smf? Also what software do I then use to read the files on the pc?

Ickytic, welcome to the sythzone sir. I am going to provide you with all you need from start to finish.
Your wish is to take the material from your keyboard and have it burned to disc.
Welcome to the synthzone Wings. Ikytic, Wings is correct at answering the heart of the question. we still lack a description of getting the processes done from one to another
You will need:
your techniques keyboard
line out cable.
min of a 16 bit Sound card with a line input
a trial copy of cool edit pro v2 (a wav editor)
A reliable CD burner and accopmanied utility burning software OR Nero burning ROM.
Go to syntrillium dot com and download cool edit pro ver 2. Install the wav editor application and configure the application to receive from the line-in source of the sound card. Set up the keyboard to output line-level signal. This signal will be your source, and captured by the wav editor with a 44,100 samples per second rating at 16 bit. Save the recorded signal as a wav file. open the burning utility place the wav in where the track is to be burned. execute the burn for audioCD. thank you!
