I'm a big fan of the 'old school' vocoder sounds that are pre-programmed patches in the XP-30. The ones that go "Techno Music, etc". Unlike most vocoder usages today, they're not subtle at all (ie. craig david & daft punk). They beat you over the head with that old Battlestar Galactica Cyclon sound. I've started playing with Orange Vocoder within Cubase VST, but as of yet, I have not found any adequate settings to recreate the XP-30 patches with, of course, my old words, like "Destroy Starbuck and Apollo" Anyways, anyone with any setting suggestions or leads would be greatly appreciated by me. Thanks!
