Hey guys, I finally croaked down $219 at my local Sam Ash today to get the SRJV80-10 Bass & Drum Expansion board (Actually, I asked my girlfriend to croak it up for me - what a gal!!). I am so pshyced! This board is hot!

I finally don't feel intimidated by the new XVs and may not upgrade. I'm telling you, go for the goose while it is cheap. I see the prices of JVs and XPs falling and falling these days.

For only 8MB of ROM, the basses and the drums on this board are EXCELLENT. I am a drummer as well a a pianist, but hate micing my kit - this board will be used very much in my upcoming sessions. Thanks a million guys!
