Hi FolksI
would like to get an opinion on the SD3 module.
I've being using a Solton/Ketron MS 40 for years as an accordion module and a keyboard expander and I've been very impressed with the quality of the samples, I just love it to bits. I would now like to upgrade and the SD3 comes to mind. I'm looking for good brass, pianos and organs mainly and that layering facility that the MS 40 has. If you can give me all relevant info I would really appreciate it, I play in lounges and cocktail receptions mainly.

Thanks Frank

I haven't used the SD3, but it is the module version of the SD5.
Here's my review of it last year: http://www.synthzone.com/ubbs/Forum37/HTML/017000.html

You will LOVE the styles and sounds.

Thanks Don for the great review on the SD5.This SD3 sounds exciting.I take it that the hard disk version would be the best buy.I fiqure that apart from me using it as an accordion module I can create an SD5 by using it with a keyboard. I do have a Tyros 1 but I'm not altogether happy with the styles and voices. The SD3 would give me a few new options.
