I don't know what is going on. When I set midi channels on 3080 to recieve and the triton to external The roland only plays every other note, yet the midi green rx light flashes every time I touch a key.Help Please!!

That is freaky....... I would say if you don't figure it out soon, call Roland and see what they think (Although they may not be very helpful) or email them (You have to go to www.roland.co.uk to get an email address, I think)

I know the XV-5080 has an 'alternate note' mode for sending out every other note via MIDI: this is used when you hook two modules together to increase polyphony (look in your manual).

Could you have turned this feature on by mistake?
