I've had this song buzzing around in my head for a while now but the title remains very elusive.
I've posted it on another forum and asked around but to no avail.
It's going to take a real 60's rock whiz to nail this one I think.

Please excuse my rough and ready playing.
I played it using Tyros3's - "Whiter Bars" organ.

Sounds like a very familar tune?? Are you sure it is from the 60's? Was it a top 40 hit? Album cut?

No worries Bill,
It seems a lot of people have never heard it, those that recognise it can't put their finger on the title.

Hi JCkeeys,
I'm fairly sure it's from the 60's though I could be wrong.
I thought it might have been performed by "The Tornadoes" (of Telstar fame) as it has a similar style, I couldn't find a match with any of theirs however, at least the ones I could find so far.

Its sounds more like a solo organist, (There were many Hammond organists around that era) with backing added in the studio. (To me it seems very much in the style of Klaus Wanderlich)
Try posting on one of these forums, http://organforum.com/forums/default.aspx http://www.organfax.co.uk/community/ as they will probably be better able to recognise the player and tune.

Regards

Bill

Hi Bill,
I don't think it's a Klaus Wanderlich number but I guess anything is possible and
thanks for the links too; you never know where a lead will come from.

Hi Rog,
Good try but no cigar I'm afraid but thanks for having a go.
