As a long time yammie user, and as formal piano player just getting some gear to play at church, and naming just a few previous keyboard used to have s30, S80, motif es6,ypg635 and s90es from roland FP4, sonic cell and GW-8. and from korg N5EX(worst ever owned) and now PA500(10 years later), I couldn't believe how huge the difference was in terms of styles quality between my psr-s700 and psr-s900) and my new PA500. I think the question would be..you want quantity(go for psr line s700/s900) you want quality(go for pa series, except pa50) I'm even considering to sell my psr-s900 on ebay and try to get a pa800 or even a pa2x pro(if I get crazy enough and extra cash to do that) which competes directly to tyros 3. talking about prices I only paid ($1300 for my Pa500, brand new) shipped to my home,, paid $999 for my psr-s700 a few months ago, and $1699 shipped for my psr-s900.

I've had my PA800 for approx. 18 months now & still enjoying it.
Still have my PSR1500 & SD1+, but hardly ever use them now.

Miss the odd Yammie style, so I just convert as needed.
