It's around the corner.

1st - 4th April.

Any rumors? Any speculation? Any wild claims?

That opening date is just SCREAMING for a good spoof or two...

Well,
that will be the 3rd time Audya shows up at the annual Frankfurt Musik Messe...
Maybe next year the "Beta test version" will be a release candidate?

Yikes!

You guys are more relentless than me! Audya is shipping and IN STOCK in some European stores. The days to castigate Ketron for not having it ready has passed. They are showing a shipping product, at last! Whether everything works as planned is still up for discussion, though...

The thing to realize is that some things (style editing and creation software, general bugs etc.) can easily be fixed. Other things (like incomplete chord selection for audio loops and fills in the variations) cannot. Don't assume that everything will, or will NOT be fixed. Just be realistic in your estimation of what can and can't...

And keep a healthy skepticism for information from someone trying to SELL YOU SOMETHING....

This is from suoni, makers of Scandalli, Sem, and Paolosoprani accordions.

"We are pleased to invite you to visit our stand number 3.1 F19
Once again we have a number of exciting new instruments to present to you this year:
Scandalli - the all new AIR series – 5 compact, lightweight, high quality models.
Paolo Soprani – new Studio line, new French models, new diatonics and a big surprise in electronics"!!

Wonder what the BIG SUPRISE in electronics is??

The most recent rumor I've heard is that Yamaha is considering entering the electronic accordion market to compete with Roland's V series. Who knows?

Yeah, I know, but according to some posts here at SZ, it's still only a testversion under
developement. Also the manual still only a quik start guide, at least the downloadable
version.
To be honest, I don't think the high priced Audya is worth the amount of money, specially
not before the keyboard is out in the USA since some say Audya is not a ready product before
it's ready for sale in the USA.
Hard to believe, is'nt it, as it is to find in the music stores many places now, even here
in this country.
I think I start see it more clearly now, let the Europeans take the cost and find all the bugs
before lower the prices to a reasonable level and ship to the United States.
