Have now loaded the update into the Abacus, and you get 15 tries of the new Accordion Option Pack, (The software equivalent of the plug-in hardware cards of Roland & Korg) to allow you to decide whether it suits your needs.
The actual numbers of Accordion types you get are as follows: (The numbers of Preset sounds provided are in brackets)
Alpina (6)
Holland (12)
Morina (14)
Cavagnola 2voix (12)
Cavngnola 3voix (13)
Cavngnola American (12)
Supita (12)
In addition if you choose the main Accordion type, then a screen pops up at the bottom showing the layout of the buttons as on the relevant Accordion type, and which can be operated like a real Accordion to change the sound of it. (All the switch noises etc of the Real Accordions are also included)
All the sounds to me sound great, but as I am not an Accordion player, and am also not familiar with the Accordions mentioned, I cannot give a definitive answer on accuracy, however all the sounds are from the real instruments played by top professional players, so they should be accurate.
If anybody knows of any Accordion Midi files, please let me know where they are, and I will post some demos. (Please remember that every time I switch the Abacus off I loose 1 try, and so have a limited window in which to post demos)
Regards
Bill
