Got my new Audya yesterday.
I spent most of the day with it, and got it set up well enough to use on the job tonight.
Of course it sounds fantastic. It plays all the chords I know and they all sound good to me, if you don’t mind the electric guitar dropping out and something akin to a kazoo playing the “hard” notes.
Best of all was the price was a BIG surprise. It actually cost less than Tyros 3!
The mic processor and vocalizer are really amazing. Everybody said it made me sound “sexy”.
In fact one lady approached me on the bandstand and wanted to see what I was playing. Before I knew it, her hands slipped from the keyboard and she started unbuttoning my shirt, right there on the stage!
I finally got her to control herself, but then her husband came up and apologized for her making a scene. He slipped me a hundred dollar bill, and then before I could catch on, HE started trying to unbutton my shirt!
I told them that yes, I could be bought, but that wasn’t even close to enough.
Anyway, when I awoke from my nap I realized that the date had changed and it truly was April 1st.
