Can anyone recommend a simple but good accounting software for me?

I need to be able to record income, payment to other musicians, overhead costs, expenses, studio income, etc, etc.

I tried Quickbooks but it was way over my head. It seemed way to complex for what I need. I need something that is simple to manage but effective for a performers needs.

If you i.e. have MS Office, preadsheet like MS Excel or similiar
might be useful for your needs.
Also there is a lot of templates for free download at the MS site.

A very nice alternative if you don't have any office packages on
your PC, is OpenOffice ( www.openoffice.org ) It's a free and very
good office package.
