I dumped my user patches to a sysex file in Cakewalk version 9. I can't seem to load the patches back to the XP-50. It does not respond at all to the sysex send from cakewalk. I know the MIDI wiring is correct because bank/patch changes from Cakewalk are working. I turned off the memory and sysex protection on the XP-50 but still no response. If any one could help, I would appreciate it.

Michael, Always save your patches to the internal disk drive[floppy]. I do this often, peace of mind,Saving into software programs without a backup is risky. Hopefully you did not erase your XP....Is your system I.D. number correct,I think it is 17....
