From delivery schedules to communication skills, from customer service to business ethics, sadly, my favorite brand is pretty much a bad joke these days.

Russ,
Here I sit all the way over on the West coast and I won't even get one to show my customers........I'm very frustrated!
Back in the old days with the former distributors, every dealer would get at least one in the first shipment. Ted has explained to me that if there was a road show and a customer pre ordered one, they get it first. I understand this is good for that customer and the store that sold it, but it's equally important to at least get a demo model all around the country. Then, you start shipping for customer units. This system of allocation has been practiced for years in most industries and I think it has been understood by all.

Could you imagine buying one ...it arrives damaged & now you have to wait for a replacement unit or send it somewhere for repairs? how many years would that take for a gigging musician?......Im not convinced.
