What size SKB case needs to be used for the XV88. Will it fit in a 76 key case or do I need an 88 key case... Additionally does anyone have the weight and size dimension of this board.

Hey Prayze...... I own the XV-88, I don't think it would fit in a 76-key case seeing as it has the full 88 keys. The weight is approximately 50-60 lbs, the dimensions are something like 55"W X 16"D X 6"H (Width, Depth, Height) I don't know the exact dimensions.... but I think you can find them on www.zzounds.com or www.rolandus.com I built a case for mine, so I can't help you much past what I did. You may want to look into building a case if you are not interested in spending $300-$400 on a case. I built mine out of wood and some eggshell foam (I did get this for free) it cost about $150 for all the hardware. You'd have to make sure you got it exactly the right size though. Hope this helps.

You need the 5817W. It fits my XV-88 perfectly. The larger 5820 would probably work, too, if you used enough extra foam pieces. It is too bad they're so expensive, but I think the convenience and protection are worth it.

The XV's dimensions are 55-7/16" x 16-3/8" x 5-5/8". Weight is 53 lb 8 oz.
