Personally, from having heard all the Yamaha official audio demos then this podcast through the same set of reference monitors (HR824's), I think that Jazzhooves EQ'ed or jazzed the sound a bit. IMO, it sounded more brittle and thinner that Yamaha's own demos do...
I'm a bit underwhelmed by the podcast music, but the reference demos sound better.
It does surprise me that, by this time into the product's life, Yamaha had done a LOT more audio demos and examples for the T2 than they have bothered to do for the T3...
Demos are the point of the spear, marketing-wise. I don't understand why the T2 rated all the hoopla, and the T3 gets this likewarm effort...
