Crew,

I'm approaching a deadline on a song production for a compilation CD (I have to have a particular tune completed & in the box by this Thursday, the 21st)...& I've found an XV-5050 Patch for my Bass that sounds absolutely perfect with the drums; & everything.

It's PB:015, A.C. Upright; & it's I think one of the nicest deep mellow Bass patches I've ever heard.

But the trouble is...the patch (or the synth) keeps adding extra notes & little flourishes to the MIDI sequence I composed (in SONAR)...as opposed to playing the notes I wrote, the way they were written.

I really don't want to abandon this sound...the song is turning out really nice; & I'm racing the clock at the same time. So, does anybody know how to configure this patch (or any XV-5050 patch) to only trigger the actual notes comprising a sequence?

Sure would appreciate some timely help.

Are you sure that these flourishes aren't being triggered by key velocity ? ie. does it only happen when you play the key hard. If it is you could then just cut the velocity level on the track to avoid triggering the flourishes. The other way would be to change it in the patch itself. Other than that I can't think what else it may be.
