If anyone is ever wondering about the letdown factor, and perhaps pointed response to the final specs, taking a look at this might help remind you where we are coming from. What happened to the 'drums, guitars, bass and even strings' that were going to be streamed? What happened to the RAM that was going to be expandable to 256MB? What happened to so detailed a spec and feature description taking over two YEARS to come to market?

OK, so it's here now. And it is what it is. But before we get burned at the stake for not bowing down and genuflecting at it's feet, perhaps this post might remind you all why there IS a certain deflation going on...
