How is VE-RD1 connected to A70 compared when it's in A90? Is there any sound quality difference?

Hi,

It sits in a holder found underneath the A-70; the same holder is located on top of A-90 underneath the display.

I have both controllers with VE-RD1 in both, and the sound quality is the same (same audio circuitry).

I think the A-70 is a great value: I've seen some going used in the $400 range.
