I am stuck at work and dont have my manual available.

A friend of mine has a Groove Box (Mc505 I think) and has recently discovered a funtion that allows the drummer to correct the tempo of a sequence in real time w/ a foot pedal when playing live.

I would like to start using My xp80 in the same way. Does it have this function?

Yes, it certainly does. I don't remember how to do it though, I don't need it, but I know for certain it does have it. It's most likely in system somewhere. You know, where you can assign the controller pedals.

I think System f4. Press f4 until you get to pedal assign. Tap should be an option.
