How do you mix or lower the volume of certain tracks that were recorded on the Roland XP-80?

If anyone knows this please help a new producer out.

Thanks

The easiest way I do it is by changing the volume levels of the performance. Load your song, push Perf, push f3, you can change volume, pan, etc, from here. Save your sequence as song+sound, and your settings will be saved. Effects settings can be changed per track by pushing f5.

Thanks for Replying

Okay I just tryed what you suggested and for some reason when I turned down the part 1 levels, all of sounds turned down (except for the rhythm set)instead of just individual sounds that were originally recorded on track 1.

what could be the problem? just in case it makes a difference or helps with answering my question, I record the sounds on tracks not I dont move the parts below. I just move to the next track when adding new sounds.

Hope this isnt too confusing.

Thanks

Well what I do is press the level button and adjust each track to the right level or you can go to the settings and set control slider 1 to HOLD-1.

Thanks for the help.

I figured it out. I found that I had all of the tracks on the same part.(that was my problem). Now I put each different sound/track on a different part so that way I can adjust the part volume thru the palette and also by the sliders.

Thanks alot though.
