Hello Again! Does anyone know how to set up a midi patcher? I have the Roland A 880. 8 inputs/8outputs. Can i utilize 128 midi channels then? I really am dopey when it comes to this technical jargon. Can't comprehend what those darn manuals mean!! THANKING YOU IN ADVANCE!!

My experience with a midi bay is limited to Opcode's Studio4 (8x8). All of the set-up parameters are configured through computer software.
How many tracks you have access to will depend on your studio devices and your sequencer software as well as the bay. If you have 8 midi devices each capeable of receiving on 16 channels and the A880 is able to address each device seperately, you should be ok as long as your sequencer will support 128 tracks. Sorry I couldn't offer you anything more.
