I just got a 1080 for orchestral stuff. The patches on the expansion board sound cool, but when i transfer them to performance mode, they sound whimpier, even though i reset EFX, chorus and reverb to their original settings. Is there something else i should do?
P.S. -- Is the JV series the best way to go for orchestral stuff (as far as synths are concerned?)

Be sure to properly copy the entire effects parameters across to achieve the same sound in Performance mode as in Patch mode.
