I just happened to think... I didn't inform all of my recent additions. I met a bass player who lives around 30 minutes south and during the initial and only rehearsal (their piano player had heart issues but recovered, hence I was not needed) he asked if I knew what a Leslie speaker was. Of course you can imagine how the conversation went and the short of it is that he basically had a Leslie that was Leslie parts in a homemade cab he had gotten years back and really just wanted a keyboard in exchange. About 2 months ago, I got a hold of him and took my spare piano (Yammie DGX500) down. I currently use a Yammie 625. He liked it, I liked the Leslie and it was a done deal.

I was having to run my PA1xPro through an A/B box and do some signal re routing for the Leslie and ended up adding an old module (Korg 03rw) back into the mix so I could run just piano through the mix while layering organ through the Leslie. I don't care for all this extra patching, etc. so I took some cash out of savings, put some tax money with it and made a downpayment on a Roland VK-8m module. Should be here later this week.

This is starting to get good. The only negative thing is we sold our church and the new place won't be ready for at least 6-9 months, so I'm having to cart the Leslie and complete sound system in and out of local rented venues for the next 6-9 months.

Oh, well.. it will come together soon.

Thanks for listening to my rambling.
