Which keyboard bags are you using for your 61's? I have a 3K, but want to make sure I can switch boards without having to switch bags. I have a Gator on wheels for my 76, but I'd like to have something lighter for this 61. Are bags better than cases? Do you need the extra padding and weight with the smaller boards?

Cass-

I Used a Tyros softcase that I bought with the Tyros 1 & 2 for the psr3k when I had it. I had some of the foam insulation/molding material left and just added it to either side and I think it fit fine.

I've used a heavy wooden case, back when I used a yamaha P-200 digital piano and it was CRAZY heavy...

The P-200 weighed 66 lbs, and the case weighed in around 38-40lbs.

I don't miss those days!

Cass, I bought 5 Gator bags from Frank last year. There is a neat counter on-line. Just enter the kind of board, and the sort comes up with the right Gator product.

Frank's prices were great. They were drop-shipped, and Frank said to let him know if there were any problems. I got bags for my SD-5, SH-201, XB-2 and GW-7. Now the bad news: None of these boards hae ever been out of the offices. the Gatror quality was fine for what I need.

Support your local retailer, guys and gals!

I've got the Roland one for my E-80 and it is excellent. Very hard to source, though.

I once had a homemade denim bag for my PK-5 pedals that worked great. So maybe I'll pull out an old blanket and get it sewed up - just hope I don't bang it against anything and crack that pretty plastic case - Uncle Dave would shoot me. Should I get a shoulder strap?
