Just been so busy between gigs and the studio that the G70 is seldom at the house for any length of time. Sorry. I still want to take a VERY tardy crack at last month's tune, too, but work comes first, I'm afraid...

BTW, I enjoyed Pasadoble's version immensely, and it definitely bears out everything I have thought about Yamaha's guitar sounds. They are, without doubt, the most authentic, playable samples in any arranger IMO...

I am still upset that we spend so much time attacking or defending ONE arranger, when the truth is that there is NO one 'best' arranger. One make is the best at guitars, another at drums, another at synths, etc.. I feel a FAR better use of our time is a concerted effort to demand that our manufacturers implement a simple, standardized set of MIDI codes so that two or more arrangers can be linked, and function as one... Good for them (more overall sales), good for us (no more deciding which compromise we are most willing to make), good for our audiences...

I can only imagine how good a linked G70/T3/PA2Xpro could sound...

I want to mention again..I like my styles and SMF's to be basic, as in not too busy...I prefer to make them busier with my playing...

I know most folks here are just the opposite...they rather use busy styles/SMF's..and play a melody over top...No right or wrong,,,just different applications....

Just two words, Noel...fan tastic!

Great guitar emulation, and fine playing throughout.

Exceptional work.

Saved as a MP3 @ 320 bitrate..[/B]

320 bitrate-22.8 MB

Quite a challenge for those of us who don't have high-speed.

That website also will play from the web page..(stream)...But I don't know if a dial up would be fast enough..I would think lower speed DSL's would stream ok..

I am spoiled now with Fios Internet..and Comcast as a back up..

Fran-

Could we hear that without the bongo?

I really like what you're doing with the sax in the first run through and then the guitar afterwards, but in my opinion...the bongo takes away from it..

No, I just wonder how it would sound without the bongo through the whole thing. To my ears, the pitch of the bongo was a distraction to everything else going on.

Again, I liked the lead stuff you were playing alot...IMO, the bongo just stuck out a bit...
