FYI,

I was editing a User Performance Bank on my RS-9 over the weekend. After you make your edits and want to save the RS-9 will say something like "Now Writing KEEP POWER ON" and normally it takes about 10 seconds tops. Well this weekend it said that but the RS-9 hung up. I gave it like 10 minutes and still only seen "Now Writing KEEP POWER ON". Well I had to turn it off. Then when I turned it on I got a message "user area damaged" or something to that effect. I turned it off and on again. Again I got the "user area damaged" messaged. I then went to access my user banks I had previously set up and they were reset to the factory settings. Luckily for me all I had was only 2 performance banks set to certain parts. I never have edited a sound. Anyway I was wondering if anyone esle has had this experience with the RS-9 (or RS-5).

It is a good example of why back-ups should be made. Which brings me to my next question. Does anyone know of a software sound/bank editor for the RS-9? Will sound diver work?

Thanks
