I live in NY and have a T3, but will be doing a job in Detroit next week. Instead of taking my T3 with me and paying hundreds of dollars in baggage fees, a friend has offered to let me use his T2.

The question is, can I take styes that were on the T3 and use them on the T2? Is there an issue with downgrading? I know it is not easy going from the Pa2x to Pa1x, so I'm a bit worried.

Did you try travelling with SOUTHWEST Airlines?

Styles should be ok ... but you'll be missing the SA2 chord parts (usually it will pick the equivalent/approximate sound in the T2) so you might have to 'settle' for some quality loss...

T3 styles format differ from T2 styles format.

Use my "Style Format 2 Converter" software to downgrade. http://www.jososoft.dk/yamaha/software/sf2c/index.htm

Downgrading is NOT perfect as the T3 style format has features the T2 style format does not support.
