Hi,
I'm thinking of buying a midi controller to use with my JV1010. I've got 3 products in mind - the Phat Boy, Kenton Control Freak and the C16 made by Philip Rees. Does anybody use one of these with their 1010? If so, I'd be interested in your opinions of it.Thanks in advance,
MrT

Hi!
I have a Phatboy which I got for use with my Yamaha SW1000XG soundcard - and it's excellent for this purpose. However, concerning the JV1010 I am sure you would be much better off with a Kenton ControlFreak, since that unit can control so many more of the 1010's parameters. The PhatBoy manages only 12, which is rather meager.
All the best,
Magnus
