Hi !
Does anyone know if the JV-1010 is fully compatible with the XP-50/80 or JV-1080/2080 ?
Can I dowload XP50 patch (for example) and send it to my JV-1010 ?
Thanks a lot and so sorry for my poor english, I'm french.
Julien (glias@yahoo.fr).

Yes, you can! Except files with the xp50 sequencer, you can only upload midi files with sounds, not songs!

Glias,

I have had the JV-1010, XP-50 and now an XP-80. Using the SoundDiver software for the jv/xp series makes sharing patches between the JV1010 and XP-50 easy.

So if you use the sounddiver program you should have no trouble at all loading a bank or patch into the sounddiver from an xp-50 and then copy it into the User bank of the jv1010. You can even download patches and sound banks from the internet, load them into SoundDiver, tweak them there, and save them to your JV1010. Very cool stuff.

You just have to be careful the patch does not require an expansion card that you don't have.

Peace
