I have recently picked up a Roland E50 and have posted multiple times on the Roland forum asking for some help. If Diki didn't reply I would not have gotten any replies. The place is pretty dead.

First, thanks Diki - I do appreciate your time and effort. I still have a question I need an answer to. I want to either add OTS to a style or change an OTS in a style and for the life of me can't figure out how to do it and still have the keyboard stay in arranger mode. The manual has been pretty good but not for this issue. If anyone has some E50 or E60 hands on experience I can use a helping hand.

By the way, this little E50 - Roland's bottom of the line arranger has some outstanding "rhythm section" parts in the styles - very real and easy to play along with. Some of the Bass lines are pure genious.

Thanks,
Hammer

Deane, I really don't use the One touch, but if I recall correctly...Select the style ( from your card)..make the changes..Hold down the one touch button..till the One touch page opens...push the write button and the location you want to save the one touch setting (1-4)..finish the rest of the one touch settings, in the same manner..Now, don't forget..you need to re-save the style to your external card....After you save..you can recall the style and it will have your one touch settings..after you select a one touch button..

Also, don't forget to save the new style in your user programs where you want it to be...

I just noticed you mentioned arranger mode...Make sure you are in the mode you want before you make one touch settings..it will remember the mode as well..look at it as small user programs with in a user program..

Don't forget, as well, that if you are adding these OTS's to ROM styles, you either need to save them as User Styles, or save them as User styles with the same name as the ROM style, then use a computer to replace the ROM style with the edited one (R-A.com has the procedure).

Once again, I highly recommend the Session Manager program to make this easy...
