Have we permanently lost a bunch of messages on this bulletin board?

I just managed to get this site to come up today for the first time in weeks, and it looks like a lot of the posts from April, May, and June are just GONE.

Is there a secret location for these messages, or am I just S.O.L. for finding that info?

Yep, if you check the announcement at the top of all the BBS pages titled BBS Drama ... Recent messages lost it explains what happened. Messages over the past two months were unavoidably lost. But this will not happen again now the BBS has moved home to the main Synth Zone server.

Bummer - but thanks for confirming the bad news.

I guess now I gotta see if I can bug Dnarkosis into re-posting some of his earlier responses about Sysex and such - he's been a lifesaver...

I saved a few of them as Word docs - I'll e-mail them to you. Also, I think I have a few things you e-mailed me.

But some of the more recent ones are lost, I'm afraid.

I'll contact you later this week when I have a chance, and we can see what can be salvaged...
