I noticed a lot of extreme LH movement while you were changing Variations, Fills, OTS's, etc., and I'm afraid that seems to be one of the weaknesses of Wersi's. Even MORE so on the new one they just came out with...

You look at most modern arrangers, and all the style controls, keyboard Part controls and OTS controls are right NEXT to the keyboard, not halfway up the panel on the wrong side of the instrument!

I am afraid that Wersi seem mired in a 'home organ' mindset, even though they are producing ARRANGERS...

Also, no offense, but why substitute the great Farfisa solo sound from the original with the skating rink cheese organ? To use the original sound would have made it strangely BOTH more original, AND much 'hipper' than that sound, IMO.

I think you're playing is very good, Robert, but you MIGHT try to get away from that dated sound. The Celine Dion piece shows how good you can sound when you use more contemporary sounds. It certainly would have been a travesty to use that Wersi organ on it! And, I'm sorry to say, so is this one...

I used to play and sell 'home organs' back in the seventies, but come on now! That was THIRTY or forty years ago And, no offense, again, but even thirty years ago most hits didn't use the 'skating rink' organ sound.

You can sound MUCH hipper than this, Robert...

thank you dike for your answer!

I know! But I have to say, that sometimes I like the organ sound to play ;-)

It was only a demo for some demands of youtube (some people aked me, to show them some organ sound of the Pegasus).

At the moment, I´m working with some "fresh" sounds of fruity loops with my pegasus (in connection with midi). I´m creating a song the the sounds of the Pegasus and of Fruity.

When I´ll winish it, I will upload it to youtube!

In the moment I´m preparing the song "and I love her" for the september contest, here on synth zone. So, I will do it after that.

Thank you very much, for your friendly and lovly words!

Best regards Robert!!!

Uh oh, better get a translator in here fast, cass. BTW, what's first prize? Lemme' guess, a Meadiastation personnally autographed by Diki and preloaded with 'best of' Dom's demo's. (second prize - two of them), (third prize - two of them plus an Audya), (consolation prize - Wersi Pegasus).

You can have my Mediastaion when you pry it from my cold, dead hands... (but that will be because I shot myself in frustration trying to get it to sound good )

The only 'competition' on the eJam thread seems to be seeing how much we can read into another's post that isn't there... c'mon, join in... it's SOOOOO much fun!

Sorry, Robert, we are just funning around.

Chas's comment was basically about the fact that the eJam is NOT supposed to be a 'contest'. It is simply a way for us to show each other how we would approach certain songs. You might have noticed that there are no declared 'winners' and 'losers', and in fact, very little critical (for good or bad) commentary other than the usual pat on the back...

Trying to pick a 'winner' of such a thing would bring up so much bad blood and politics that it FAR better we don't even TRY!

I think we should have a contest. In fact, here is my entry. Don't pay any attention to that guy in the video, he's just faking it over my track. I may sue him.
