This is driving me nuts.... all I am trying to do is play to two patchs on an XP30 using cubase at the same time.... ie- C130 and A195.... I've set the MSB, LSB, and program number in cubase under LIST (Ctrl+G).... and I can't get the two to work together..... it may play one patch or even another patch that I haven't even entered under LIST. I've heard that I have to put the XP30 in Performance mode but that does nothing.... so do I have to assign each patch to a seperate midi channel?? I can't find out how to do this on the XP30 and its driving me nuts.... any help would be great. thanks

assing diffrent voices to each channel from 1 to 16.

Ok.....but do I still need to assign each patch to a seperate midi channel when using a squencer, in this case cubase. To put the XP30 into performance mode do I push the performance button and then patch at the same time?? If I do have to assign each patch to a seperate midi channel how do I go about doing this? Thanks for the advice.
