You all know by now that if you are in drawbars playing and you decide to add the (LFB) left voice you press the button and you immediately are taken out of drawbars and end up in whatever the left voice button has been programmed last.
The problem is that every time your press the left voice button the Audya thinks you want to change it and it flashes at you and wherever you are it will go to the screen group you program LVB.
I don’t think this is easy for Ketron to get around unless they change the way LFB is programmed, it must be programmed away from the button in one of the setup screens, or it will never be cured.
The Auyda works well when you are prepared to do a lot of registration programming and do not try to be too clever changing things on the fly, if you play gigs you need not be too clever changing voices and add in or it will go pear shaped on you.

As i said on another topic, thats a CORE bug, its major for few years on most machines, i dont
know how easy it is to get rid of it, i see it as a part of the system and not easy fixable.
It is actually not a BUG, it is part of the system, the way Ketron works. Many things have
to be changed for that to be fixed.

I have a suggestion. Don't press the Left Voice slider when using drawbars.
Unless of course you want to make a quick change of voice.

Maybe they'll eventually get everything perfect. If so, it will be the ONLY arranger without flaws.

Flawless advice, there, Don...

"Doctor, it hurts when I move my arm like so..." Doctor: "Then don't move it like that!"

I can't think of a single arranger that doesn't require you to make SOME kind of workaround or adjustment from what you would LIKE to do (in a perfect world). The main trick is learning where they are, and adjusting.

I could sit here and bitch for DAYS about things I'd like different on the G70... (and have, over at the Roland-arranger.com website ). But I'd still rather play it than something that DID have these things I want, but didn't SOUND as good...

Haven't tried it, but according to the manual, there's another way to assign and change the left voice. I'll try it when I'm not so tired.

Simple workaround, Just set the left sound before you start drawbars, and just use the left voice slider, up/dwn. changing left voice several time during one song, would be someting else. Sorry you gave up Tony, would be great to have you around to help out.
Diki, I think you are right, ( are you ever wrong). If some button pushing dont take you to what you expected, may be learning its way of thinking (button) will help a lot. I have been waiting for my big Audya crash, for several weeks, but so far so good. And I can tell you I have been pushing button alot. The last 5 weeks, at least 5 hours a day/night, monday I worked 12hours pushing buttons. I know most of you know how much work it is to set up ca. 200 regs. Tweaking styles, changing drumsets, volume on snare, kick etc, live guitars, and div. instrument tracks and so on. Than making sound programs. Yes, I have had just a couple of "freezing", but as you get along you learn how to drive, give the HD just one sec. when loading, before pushing the next button, and it helps a lot. I'm pushing myself to get things ready for a gig next month. Hope to have most ready within next week. Than I have to get used to my FS 13, that gives me a few more switches than my Korg EC5. After all the negative reading about the Audya, I'm crossing my fingers. One thing no one can take away. It sounds amazing!!
