Used it on the job for the first time tonight.
It performed flawlessly and sounded great.
I tweaked a lot of things as the evening went by, particularly the Vocal settings. I had set them up at the house using Logitech Z2200 and also headphones, but it's not the same as doing it on the job with the first-line PA.
Halfway through the night I was pretty well pleased with the vocal sound and harmonizer settings. Not perfect yet, but getting closer to what I want to hear.
I had lots of good response from the audience and particularly from the regulars and staff, most of whom noticed the new sound.
So far so good.
Tomorrow I will load the file AJ sent me so that the improved chord recognition is on board.

Don,

Great to hear everything went fine for you and nice to know that the audience noticed, did you get any more money for the gig for your investment. I do hope you don't have any funnies when gigging, it does look like a lot of the problems are bieng solved, not go rid of mine yet and not had any more things happen to mine since that last screen blank you posted via Frank and thanks for that.
I will keep watching how things go.

Regards to you all

Don,

Also a new feature - if you have text and styles from your USB stick from your old AUDYA, once you load the stick into the new AUDYA, your registrations will automatically recall and reload the associated files from the USB stick.

Remove the stick and the related files will still be in your new AUDYA and be able to be recalled by Registrations (this feature is nice for those who might just forget their USB sticks at home)... We want them to still have their styles and text files with them now.

Thanks,

AJ

AJ, yes I discovered that, and posted it in the Ketron forum. That is a GREAT feature.
Once the text and/or style is saved with the registration, it's no longer necessary to load it into the hard drive or have the USB drive engaged.

Don, is that something above and beyond OS 3.0?

Glad to hear all went well on the job.

It's a file in addition to OS3 that enables the keyboard to better handle sophisticated chords with the audio guitars.
I loaded the file right before my job tonight but didn't get a chance to pay much attention to what it did. I had a guitar player with me and I would have had trouble determining what he was playing and what the styles were doing.
I'll test it tomorrow night.
BTW, the guitar player was blown away with the sound of the Audya, as is everyone who has heard it.
I'll try to post some recordings soon.
