After jobs of different sizes and shapes, I decided to stay with Bose. There are too many positives and I'm particularly enjoying the beautiful clarity. The clever design puts it over the top. I will get another Compact soon. Thx to everyone for setup ideas, etc.

Hey Zuki - I have used the Bose Compact several times and a couple of them I daisy-chained my Crate Limo amp (which has a 10" woofer and a tweeter) to the output of the Bose. It gave me a bit more bass with the Crate on the floor and expanded the mid-range as well. I liked the sound and it was not much effort to put the Crate in the mix.
Sounds like you made a great decision! The Bose is a great tool for the smaller jobs and as you said, the clarity is great.

Randy that is excactly what I do many times on my med to large venues..I chain my powered 15" Mackie Tapco Thump(s)and it adds a super bottom end when kept on the floor...allowing the high Bose speakers on the pole sear out over the audience with a very wide dispersion..sounds great!
