Hi Gang,
I finally took the plunge and got a brand spanking new T3.
Wow; coming from the T2 it is a different animal. The demos don't do the KB justice.
I'm playing it through my SRM-450's...
What a sound. Much more presence; as people have stated. The styles are much more drums and bass driven. All the styles have a different feel to it.
Love the new Guitars and Synth sounds...
Don't know about the Bagpipe yet
Well; what can I say...
I dropped Frankie an e-mail and he e-mailed me right back. What a nice guy. He gave me a great deal and answered all my e-mails with questions right away.
I highly recommend him if you want to buy a keyboard. Great service.
Now it's back to exploring and playing.
Thank God I have a great wife who supports my music...
Eric

Congratulations on your new T3, I had mine for about 4 months, also upgraded from the T2, and like you said, is a different animal and I agree, demos do not make justice to the board.

I just finish my recording project, and in about 2-3 weeks I will have it ready for my dancers that had ask me for CDs.
Is really nice to be able to do it all in the T3, I use 2 arrangers, I just connectec the Korg outs into the ins of the T3, found the proper level, and presto....
I am sure you will enjoy your keyboard very much.

What da ya think
Gotta play some more now.

Eric! Hey dude, congratulations! You now own the best Yammie arranger out there now. Great to hear you purchased it from Frankie too. He not only offers the best keyboard deal around, but an honest genuine 'nice' guy as well. I won't forget the fun time we had hanging out at NAMM together.

Eric, best to Claudia, and lil' Sunny. Time to organize another California keyboard jam.

Scott

Hi Tony,
Even though I agree that some of the styles in the Audya sound more live and real than any other KB, there are just not enough of them for me for the type of music I play.
The sounds are definitely not light years ahead as Don M recently wrote.
I auditioned many Ketrons, but couldn't quite get myself to like the sound...
In addition: many of the Yamaha styles immediately inspire me to play many different songs to one style, I never had that with the Ketron.
Again; even though I turn on a style and say wow... I can't come up with a song to play to that. I think it's just me...
Plus there are tons of styles for my type of music out there for the Yamahas.
I have always been able to tweak my KB enough where others say wow (including myself ).
Good enough for me.
I think, that ALL TOTL KB these days are awesome. It's just comes down to personal taste.
Eric

Eric...I have a feeling that Tony's post was written with tongue firmly in cheek.

Am I correct, Tony?

By the way, Eric, congratulations on your new Tyros3...it is a terrific` arranger, and you'll get much enjoyment from it.

3rd party interest and support are excellent.
