I´m a happy owner of a JV1080 but I can´t setup any patches. I seem to be missing a very important file (and the owners manual as well). I´m bored playing GM sounds!
I know you can help me.....help!

I'd say your problem is one step behind FB's . . take a look at that forum posting for hints on how you might make bank and patch settings in Cubase without the download. I'm sure the JV-1080 isn't materially different in that respect from the 1010.

My software doesn't offer such patch downloads, so I've been selecting banks and patches by number for years. There's an initialization file where I could type them all in, but that seems too much like work!
