i'm interested in roland xp-30...is it any good for techno,trance and dance?tell me about good and bad things in it...

Try to buy a JX305.

I think it's the better solution.

thanx bertol,i already bought jx-305 but i thought maybe xp-30 would be more "pro"...jx-305 is good but not good as "stand alone synth" because it's only 8 part multimbral...

eh, I have one in the mail coming up, cause after trying it out for 30 mins I was sold.. or it was to me, anyway :-, The sounds are very varied, but I think pop/eurodance.. or hell, maybe even trance or goa is in the XP30's repertoire..
WOW!
the built-in expansion cards make up for the lack of multiple outputs like in the JV2080 that the xp30's main banks are taken from.
