I've just noticed on my SR-JV80-12 Hip Hop Expansion board that sound 151 Arrpy Synth uses the internal sounds on my XP60 alone and none of the waves from the board. Has anyone else seen this sort of thing. Perhaps we could work out a way of collating these sounds that were thought to be unique to the particular expansion board.

All the flutes on the orchestra board are made of internal sounds only. I think some of the chimes on the Orchestra II board are as well, I'd have to check on that to make sure.

I´ve checked the late SR-JV08-06 Dance Expansion and found the following patches, all made of internal waves only:

088 ResoLoot: Int-B 26 Synth Saw 1

089 Square Tone: Int-B 39 Synth Square

090 Trianglular: Int-B 45 Triangle
Int-B 46 Sine

093 Reso Pad : Int-B 29 Synth Saw 3
Int-A 213 JP Strings 1A

095 ResoSequence: Int-B 26 Synth Saw 1
Int-B 27 Synth Saw 2
Int-B 29 Synth Saw 3

More, the following uses internal and expansion waves, but the tones that uses the expansion are TURNED OFF, and only the internal tones are turned on:

198 Oper'Ambient
215 Nice-n-Easy

The expansion tones only adds minors changes to the overall character of the patch...

I remember there being a site where users would trade some of these tones. The idea was that since A LOT of sounds on all of the expansion boards use internal waves only, users could have access to expansion board sounds without having the expansion board.

Someone complied many of these sounds into one bank. I can't seem to find this bank on the web anymore. Go figure.
