Hi,
Can anyone shed light on weather the left voice on the Prelude can be held during split rhythm play?
Perhaps Fran Carango may Know?

Gilbert

Fran,

Is the left "Hold" button on the panel, or in a menu...I can't remember?

Does the sustain pedal, also affect the LH sound, and can it be disabled?

Will the Prelude play styles from the older E-series, or the older G-series, like the 800/1000?

No word on an OS system upgrade that will add on-board style assembly?

Ian

Hold function is within the menu..

Sustain pedal can be set on or off for each part. Left or right.

Older styles play ..

No editing of style such as morphing..

Having the left "Hold" function in the menu is not a problem, as it is not something used that often.

Can you store it's on/off status in a registration memory?

Hi,
Just to clarify for those interested it appears that the left hand VOICE on the Roland Prelude and GW7 can not be assigned to hold in any mode,
Gilbert.
