Hi everyone-

I used to own a JV1010 but sold it because it's so user unfriendly if not being used with a computer! I loved it's sounds however! I particularly liked the fact that it came fitted with the excellent 'Session' expansion board.

My question is- how do the factory XV piano, strings, guitar, bass, brass sounds etc compare to the sounds of this board?

I particularly liked using these sounds but after playing the XV, I felt that it largely includes patches of the same quality as those in the session board.

In short, I'm wishing to get opinions from users as to whether the session board is worth getting for an XV synthesizer.

Before this I was going to get the JV2080 and I know that I would have definetly gotten the session board. But to me the XV's waveforms seem to cover the session boards sounds well. Am I right (I haven't got access to the session board sounds to compare/contrast!). Thanks for any answers in advance!!!!! Cheers.
