I've been so busy that I just realized it's only a month away! Looks as if this will be the biggest one so far.
I've talked to Ernest, the owner of the dinner club where I work, about having it there this time, and it looks as though that will work out just fine. We'll have our own room with private entrance.
Sunday, there will be a private buffet available at a nominal cost. It's not mandatory that you eat, but it's the best food you'll find anywhere.
We can leave the equipment set up and "jam" some more Monday afternoon. For those that stay for Monday night, I'll be working in the lounge, and everyone will be welcome to play and sing there also.
For those arriving Saturday, the room will be available for us Saturday night as well.
We will have the following keyboards available: Ketron Audya, SD1 and Midjay, Yamaha PSRS900, 3000 and Tyros 3, Roland E80 and E50. Of course you may bring your own if you wish.
I'll be putting directions up on my website soon, but it's easy to find. Just Google Ernest's Orleans Restaurant in Shreveport.
Please let me know if you can attend. I have about 20 firm commitments so far.
The US Ketron distributor has indicated he will come. I would expect AJ as well, but it hasn't been confirmed. Maybe we'll get a first-hand demonstration of OS 4.0!
I'll be happy to help with motel accommodations. We're getting a pretty good rate from Motel 6 in Bossier City. A lot of the guys stayed there during the past two Jams. It's very convenient to Ernest's.
Hope to see you in January!!

I'd be there if I could. The Legion where you had it the year I came was a very hospitable. Ernest's sounds like a nice change. But, I will have to wait and see about next year...and maybe by then it will be in the Super Dome.

One of the differences is that some of us don't smoke. Ernest's is better.

I'll be there if I don't freeze to death from all this global warming taking place here.
